Strathclyde Police Federation represents just over 8,000 Police Officers of Strathclyde Police.

Our primary aim is to look after the Welfare of Officers and negotiate on their behalf with regards to their Pay and Conditions of Service.

In 2005 Strathclyde Police Federation entered a Workforce agreement with regards to VSA 146.

The views of the Federation are that all federated ranks who work any VSA should be working on VSA 146 as it has been found to be the best shift, to meet work life balance and is recognised by the PNB.
